Kathleen’s passion for learning and growing has prompted her to continually seek out opportunities that push her outside of her comfort zone. One of her favorite things about herself is that she grew up in Brooklyn, New York and after graduating from NYU’s Gallatin School, Kathleen pursued a creative path which led her to complete a two-year theater conservatory program. After spending some time exploring her creative side, Kathleen found that working in education was a way in which she could pursue her desire to help others. Kathleen is currently working towards earning her MSW at Fordham University in an effort to expand her ability to provide support and services to those in need in a meaningful and fulfilling way.
To Kill A Mockingbird. It wasn’t until I re-read this book on my own in my early twenties that I truly fell in love with it. The book remains as important today as it was when it was originally published. Its exploration of universal themes and timeless lessons draw me in every time I read it.
