Sophie is a poet and essayist whose work has appeared in Best New Poets, the Threepenny Review, and other journals and publications. She has an MA in French from Bryn Mawr College and an MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence. She’s lived in France and Istanbul, where she taught ESL, advocated for LGBTQ rights, and translated articles for an economics magazine. Before joining Zinc, Sophie ran a residency program for emerging writers at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, where she was a Poetry Fellow in 2014-15.
